Yves Bright is a gifted and talented aspiring actor. He was born to act, but his surfing talents took precedence. Prior to becoming a member of the screen actors guild, Bright was a renowned professional surfer, competing in various contests around the world. With major sponsors such as Quicksilver and O'neill backing him, Yves traveled the globe and competed in WQS (World Qualifying Series) and also graced the many pages of both national and international surfing magazines.

Since coming off the tour, he has slowly been carving his niche into the entertainment industry. Yves has never looked back and continues to gain both experience and respect as an up and coming young talent in Hollywood.

Bright's major accomplishments so far include being chosen amongst thousands of submissions as "Cosmopolitan Magazine's Bachelor of the Year " for the state of California. Yves traveled with the rest of the nation's winners on the "Hunks Across America" press tour and has recently appeared on such shows as: ABC's "Good Morning America," Fox's "Good Day Live," CBS' "Living It Up with Ali & Jack," and NBC's "Access Hollywood."

Yves has also been interviewed by "Star 98.7's" popular morning show hosts "Jamie & Danny," as well as several other radio stations. Besides appearing in a full-page spread as the first of the chosen bachelors in "Cosmo," Bright has managed to stand out from his attractive peers on numerous occasions.

During "Good Morning America's Celebrity Week" he was the bachelor chosen to give the weather, a segment usually reserved for the celebrity guests of the show. On "Living It Up," where only four of the 50 bachelors were highlighted and appeared on stage with Ali & Jack, Yves was right there amongst them, charming Ali with his fluent command of the French language.

Although being the most recent of his achievements, the "Cosmopolitan" feature is by no means the only recognition that Yves has earned. His resume includes a wide variety of professional acting jobs such as his work on various television shows from "Ally McBeal" and "Days of Our Lives," to MTV's "Spyder Games."

Bright has also been featured in several independent films, including "The Biz," directed byT.J. Castranova and "Anacappa," directed by Michael Garber as well as an appearance in Madonna's controversial music video, "What it Feels Like for a Girl," directed by Guy Ritchie. Include several commercial gigs embracing the likes of "Direct TV" and "Mercedes Benz," leads in local theater plays like "Remembering Madeline" and "Prelude to a Kiss," and Bright has a very well rounded start in a demanding yet rewarding industry.

Yves continues to take on the challenge of becoming a successful actor as he would take on anything else in his life, with conviction and a strong sense of self.

"I am passionate about everything I do in life... I love the opportunity I get from acting to dive into roles head first and completely engulf myself in the world of the story."

Given continued opportunities and chances, Yves will take his natural talent, boyish good looks, and over-all charisma and make a name for himself in Hollywood.
